Testing
The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club provides in-person test sessions throughout the year to help our members advance in their figure skating. Test sessions are typically offered in August, November, and February/March. For our testing form, please click here. Contact Kathy MacMillan, test chair, for more information.
Procedure for TESTING OUT OF CLUB:
1) YOU put the out-of-club test application with all the appropriate signatures, test to be taken & USFS # in the club mailbox. The Test Chair signs it and puts it in the Pick Up file in the office for you to pick up. You then mail/deliver the test application and check to the club hosting the test session. (A heads up to the Test Chair that it’s there is a good idea.)
2) The skater tests.
3) Someone (skater or coach) puts a copy of test papers in the club mailbox.
4) The Test Chair updates the FHFSC test record book.
5) The test chair of the host club processes the test session - whenever - which automatically updates the USFS RECORD. Until the test chair processes, the official USFS record is incomplete.
