Welcome to the Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club!
The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club is a year-round independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit skating program. Our members are amateur skaters, both youth and adult, and non-skating adult members, including parents and coaches - all dedicated to the sport of figure skating in all its forms: freestyle, dance, moves in the field, and showcase. The Club makes its home at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, owned and operated by the City of Farmington Hills.
Our mission is to encourage the instruction, practice, and advancement of the members in any or all of the disciplines of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a fraternal feeling among ice skaters; and to carry out the general objectives of U.S. Figure Skating.
Each year in May, many of our skaters participate in the Ice Show, which is presented jointly by the Club and the City of Farmington Hills. In May, we also celebrate our skaters’ accomplishments with a dinner and awards ceremony. In June, the Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club hosts Summer Swizzle, a Michigan Basic Skills Series competition. The Club also coordinates performance and skater development events.
