Membership
The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club (FHFSC) welcomes all youth and adult skaters and non-skating adults. We offer club-only memberships, which allow members to participate in all club activities, as well as U.S. Figure Skating memberships, which are required to test or to compete beyond the Basic Skills level.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN LEARN TO SKATE OR ASPIRE GROUP CLASSES.
The membership season is from July 1 through June 30. Full USFSA skaters can only test or compete in U.S. Figure Skating-sanctioned events starting July 1 if they have renewed their memberships. Please note that there is a two-week processing time after payment is received. Membership renewal goes through July 31. Silver and Gold members who renew after July 31 incur a $25 late fee. (The late fee does not apply to Bronze members or new members.) Payment options: cash, check, credit card, Venmo.
We use the Uplifter platform to manage club memberships, locker rentals, show and social event registration, club jackets, and more.

Click Login (top right corner), then select "First time registering" to set up your Household Owner Account (Adult Skaters, Parents, Guardians, Collegiate Skaters); add Skater Participants (all minor skaters, including high school seniors, and any adults who skate); and purchase memberships and locker rentals.
Season memberships are available from approximately June 1 to November 30. If you need a partial season membership, please email president@fhfsc.org.
Renew/request FHFSC Membership:
Access to all club events and benefits for skaters in Learn to Skate and Aspire group classes who are not yet competing beyond the Basic Skills level or testing; Second Club skaters; Second Club coaches; and non-skating adults.
BRONZE Membership – $30
SILVER Membership - $95
Access to all club events and benefits PLUS a special U.S. Figure Skating Aspire Membership: Transitional membership for skaters starting introductory tests (pre-preliminary skating skills and singles, Adult Bronze skating skills and singles, and the twelve preliminary dances--partner lead, partner follow, solo lead, solo follow) and competing at Aspire levels ONLY. Any skater at this level may hold this membership - and for more than one season - before transitioning to an Introductory Membership.
PRE-GOLD Membership - $95
Access to all club events and benefits PLUS a special U.S. Figure Skating Introductory Membership: Promotional membership for skaters starting a full-access USFSA membership. Allows skaters to test and compete at any level. Skaters may only have this membership for one season. After the Introductory Membership season, skaters competing beyond the Basic Skills level and/or testing must have a full USFSA membership.
GOLD Membership – fee varies
- One full USFSA skater of any age ($160) – For skaters whose primary club is FHFSC. Attached to this membership may be any number of additional full USFSA skaters in the same family at a reduced membership rate ($90 per additional skater).
- Collegiate skater ($135) – This membership may not be combined with any other membership. Collegiate members pay one fee leading into their Freshman year and retain their membership continuously for four years.
- FHFSC Coach ($90) – For coaches whose primary club is FHFSC.
Access to all club events and benefits PLUS one full U.S. Figure Skating membership entitling the skater to test in USFSA test sessions and compete in USFSA competitions.

The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club (FHFSC) is a year-round independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit skating organization; our home is the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, which is owned and operated by the City of Farmington Hills. FHFSC supports a positive environment where our members and their families can thrive. We encourage our skaters to set and achieve goals and celebrate their accomplishments. We also aim to foster a sense of community among our members.
