Skater Awards
Ambassador Award
-Awarded to the skater who skates in the highest number of USFS-sanctioned competitions (High School State Individual events count, and it DOES INCLUDE Showcase/ Artistic and light entertainment events) in the award year.
-Determined by point system: Three points given for the first event, and one point given for each additional event in the same competition.
-Skater may receive the award only once.
Flying Star Award
-This award is given to the skater who competes at the Bronze Singles(Juvenile FS) level or higher and receives the highest number of top-three placements or participation at qualifying events.
-DOES NOT INCLUDE Showcase/ Artistic and light entertainment events.
-Record for each skater: the competition, the event, and the placement. (High School State Individual events count, but it DOES NOT INCLUDE Showcase/ Artistic and light entertainment events).
Shooting Star Award
-This award is given to the skater who competes at the Pre Bronze Singles(Pre-Juvenile FS) level or below and receives the highest number of top three placements.
-DOES NOT INCLUDE Showcase/ Artistic and light entertainment events.
-Record for each skater: the competition, the event, and the placement. (High School State Individual events count, but it DOES NOT INCLUDE Showcase/ Artistic and light entertainment events).
-Same point system as Flying Star, except there will not be any qualifying events.
-In the case of a tie, the skater with the most 1st-place finishes and the highest level breaks the tie.
